The National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will hold in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This was part of the decisions reached at the party’s 92nd National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja on Saturday, 28th August, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan confirmed.

Seven policemen have been killed after bandit terrorists ambushed them near Zonai village in Magami district in Gusau Local Government Area of Zamfara State. According to residents, the police officers were on their way back from a duty where they mounted a check point near Zonai village along Gusau-Magami-Dansadau road when the bandits attacked them.
